About Nat Wu
Since the age of 7 Nat has been singing on stage with the various choirs that he has performed and competed with. Throughout his 16 years in the choral scene, Nat has been bringing contemporary and classical choral music to audiences in Germany, USA, South Korea and China, garnering applauses and coveted accolades in the process.
In 2008, Nat plucked up a little courage, took a leap of faith, and jumpstarted his pop music career as a vocal student at a homegrown music school in Singapore. He has since performed solo, and also with local startup band, AlphaBeat, on many occasions. Some of his clients include prestigious organisations and events such as People’s Association, Nanyang Technological University, Nestlé, the President’s Charity, and World IP Day 2014. Further on, Nat took his talent in music harmony and worked as a supporting vocalist for Taiwanese singers Jacky Wu, Kang Kang and Jason Chung during their concert tour《三大難高音》 in Singapore and Malaysia. He was also featured on the judging panel for locally-based singing competition Stardust. Recently, Nat emerged as the Top 6 Finalist for The Voice of China Season 3 Singapore Auditions 《中國好聲音新加坡招募站 前6強》, proving once again his competence as a performer.
Today, Nat is the resident singer and keyboardist at Outpost Bar & Bistro and Shuffle Bistro Bar, and performs regularly at corporate events and weddings. Nat is also qualified with both Distinctions in LCM Popular Music Vocals Level 5 and ABRSM Music Theory Level 5, and shares music as a pop vocals instructor at Millet Music, D’Vox, and Symphony Music School. At the same time, Nat arranges his original compositions and pens the lyrics himself. He also fancies travelling around the world, enjoys musicals, and covers popular English and Mandarin hits online.
